Battlebots!

Back in 2020, I dipped my toes into combat robotics for the first time with small 3d printed 1lb combat robots I made and tested(safely) in my living room. After finding a few robot folks local to me applying to Battlebots, the TV show one, with a new design called Horizon, I hopped right on board. Unfortunately the design was declined for 2021, but we did end up lending a hand with Gigabyte, another fairly local team. In 2022 however, Horizon got in, we built the robot, and had a great time. My focus on both teams was mixed, focusing more on electronics and some mechanical work on Gigabyte but working with all the systems on Horizon, from electronics and software to maintaining and repairing the frame and other mechanical components.

Nowadays, I am still with Horizon, running a new robot named Calypso.
